About the Position

Are you looking for a fun and educational part-time/summer job? Then we have the perfect position for you at Biltema Uppsala! We are now looking for a group of stars who want to work with us during the summer, both in the café and in the store.

As a Store Assistant at Biltema, you are a central part of the customer experience. The workday includes varied tasks and departments, always with a focus on service. You ensure that our 19,000 items are well-stocked and fronted, and in the café, you work with sales, deliveries, and maintaining a pleasant environment.

Wherever you are in the store, you meet customers – when you restock items, sit at the checkout, assist in customer service, or serve in the café. You gladly share your knowledge to help them find the right products at a good price. No day is the same, and we enjoy solving tasks and challenges in a simple way.

The introduction will begin in early spring, so it is an advantage if you can start even before the summer. For those who show initiative, there are good opportunities for extra work even during the fall and winter.

About You

The customer's time is valuable, and as an employee at Biltema, you must be able to read the customer's needs. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is a pronounced service person and has the customer in focus. You enjoy a fast-paced work environment where you are constantly faced with new challenges. As a person, you like to take initiative, see what needs to be done, and want to have order and tidiness around you. Personal suitability will be highly valued, as you must be communicative in both Swedish and English.

Experience in retail, particularly in customer service, checkout, and complaint handling, is advantageous. Since café work is included in all positions, we value experience from the restaurant industry. To quickly adapt to the role, we prefer a burning interest in our product range and areas or café operations.

• Regular Store Assistant – must be able to work part-time until August.
• Store Assistant with a focus on warehouse/restocking - must be able to work part-time until August. Here, you need to be an early riser and ready for deliveries of Biltema's 19,000 different items. We view previous experience in similar tasks and a forklift license very positively.
• Store Assistant with a focus on bicycles/assembly – must be able to work part-time until August. In addition to an interest in bicycles, we prefer that you have a technical interest and curiosity about how things work.
• Store Assistant with a focus on customer service – must be able to work part-time until August. Here, you need to be passionate about customer interaction and good service. You are a problem solver who sees the big picture and is not afraid to make your own decisions.
• Store Assistant with a focus on café - must be able to work part-time until August. Here, you need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment while being careful to follow food hygiene requirements.
